At Cohen Medical Associates we are well-trained in geriatric care, and have a special interest in Medicare patients. The doctors go to nursing, personal care, and assisted living homes. We have a full-time nurse practitioner who sees patients with us at the homes. Our geriatric patients have special needs and circumstances—for example some seniors may have multiple illnesses that interplay with multiple medications. Because we deal with many senior patients, we are very comfortable dealing with their families and the concerns they have for their loved one.
