Dr. Cohen modeled his personal-care approach after a professor who formed tremendous relationships with his patients. Dr. Cohen enjoys getting to know his patients and gives them his undivided attention—he listens carefully so he can understand their fears, concerns and life goals. He also develops relationships with their family and friends. When people are ill there are often multiple reasons and knowing a patient’s family dynamics can make a huge difference.

Dr. Cohen says, It’s an honor to help my patients through a crisis and relieve their fears and pain when they are not well.

Dr. Greene decided while in high school in Westchester, N.Y., to become a doctor. One particular pediatrician who had treated Dr. Greene as a child was an inspiration. Dr. Greene moved to Florida in 1978, and has found that medicine itself has improved during that time. With the aid of computers and today’s advanced technology it is much easier to get results, which in turns helps make a diagnosis faster. What hasn’t changed is Dr. Greene’s attitude toward practicing medicine. Deliberate and thorough, Dr. Greene is focused on solving his patients’ problems, whether with treatment he recommends, or with the help of a specialist.

Dr. Greene says, What I value most is the interaction with my patients—some of whom I have treated for 30 years.

Dr. Weiss

I chose medicine because of the influence and guidance of my mentor and teachers, my father, a family physician who practiced close to 50 years providing his patients with compassionate, exemplary care. It is important for me to instill the same qualities to my patients with trust and dedication as part of their total medical care.

I practiced in New Jersey for 33 years, 17 years with my Father. I was in private practice, group practice, a clinical assistance professor at a medical school and most recently, as a medical director of a hospital owned family medicine/multi-specialty office. My wife and I moved to Florida in early 2016 to be closer to our children and grandchildren, who live nearby our new Florida home.

My interests away from the office are to be with my family, being active including golf, biking and working out at the gym. I also enjoy traveling and watching most sporting activities especially baseball and football, continuing my allegiance to the Philly sports teams. I have been involved with such charities as the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Organization participating in the annual 5K Race For the Cure and participated in the 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk. I have also been involved with Tar Wars (smoking education program for children) and Walk With a Doc (an informal organized walk with patients).

I am looking forward to joining Cohen Medical Associates and starting new doctor-patient relationships in Florida.
